How "Letters to Olga" came to me

Boka kom til meg i 1989, ei fødselsdagsgåve.

 The book came to me in 1989, a birthday gift.

"30/1- 89 - Dear father! - Birthday gratulations for the 8th of February. The author of this book is today under arrest once more and accused of disturbing public order. We will maintain our talk about Europe! - Hugs from Stein!"

I boka har Stein limt inn eit bilde av oss to karane. Det vart truleg tatt hausten 1988, - undrast om vi ikkja var ein tur oppover mot Åsen, her på Bjørke, - og at vi stilte opp for sjølvutløysaren.

Stein pasted this picture on the inside of the front cover. Here we are the two us, - I think it was summer/autumn 1988, and we had a field and meadow walk. Posing for the automatic time switch.
