Markku: Could there be a special attraction between Ireland and Finland, between

Should there be something similar to this between the two lands of yours? And Markku replied: Day by day we are getting better in football. If I'm not totally wrong, we have actually beaten Eire at least once. The first ever translation of Joyce's Ulysses was Finnish. The translator, Pentti Saarikoski, had enormous troubles getting into Ireland since he was utterly drunk and spoke very bad english.
